OUR
SERVICES
WELLNESS EXAMS
Semi-annual wellness exams focus on whole body care - oral health, weight, preventive care, nutrition and behavioral health. Let's nip things in the bud before they become issues. Remember that pets age faster than us and need more frequent care because of this, especially geriatric pets.
BEHAVIOR
Pets can experience emotional, social and psychological stresses just like us, but they manifest them differently from how we might. Sometimes a nuisance behavior needs veterinary involvement to resolve; never hesitate to ask if your pet has started to behave in a way that is causing you or him any stress.
EMERGENCY CARE
We promise to do our best to accommodate our patients when they are experiencing an emergency; please call us right away if your pet is experiencing an emergency and we'll help you figure out what to do.
VACCINATIONS
Lifestyle-appropriate immunizations are one of the safest and most effective means of ensuring that your pet is protected against the diseases that she will most likely be exposed to during the course of her life. Her risk of exposure to different diseases may change year to year, and we will discuss that with you. We vaccinate every three years for certain diseases and use only cat-friendly vaccines for our feline patients.
MICROCHIPPING
Microchip placement can make the difference between life and death for many lost pets. We can place a microchip for your pet at anytime. If you've found a lost dog or cat, please bring it in and we can check whether it has a chip and help you contact its owner if it does!
ANESTHESIA
Anesthesia is undoubtedly a scary concept for many pet owners, but rest assured that Wagnolia enlists state-of-the-art anesthetic monitoring equipment, medications and a dedicated technician to monitor every patient for every surgery. We complete preanesthetic blood work to ensure we've unrooted any potential issues before we administer anesthesia.
DENTAL CARE
Oral health is the cornerstone of the rest of our pets' health. Oral pain and infection can affect your pet's behavioral health, nutritional intake, and even his cardiovascular, liver and kidney health.
ABOUT OUR CLINIC

Wagnolia Veterinary Clinic is a progressive, state-of-the-art veterinary clinic offering integrative medicine to patients in the Uptown neighborhood and all across Chicago.
Dr. Joshi and her fellow Wagnolians value the human-animal bond, a concept centered on our physical, emotional and psychological connection with our pets. We understand that when you walk into our veterinary clinic, you are putting your complete trust in us to assure the well-being and comfort of your pet. On the other hand, we know that you want to keep your pet at his best and recognize that medicine isn't one-size-fits-all; every pet will need an individualized plan of action to achieve optimum health and wellness. We will always spend the time you need to determine that path.
